Taylor

Recently I caught up with one of my old high school friends. His name is Taylor Koense, I usually call him Koense (coonzee). We have been hanging out pretty much every day this week, thought I would let you know some of the goings on.
The first day I saw him we went out for lunch, then we went back to his apartment, and he showed us his snake and his old dog Detroit, who I remember from when I met him in school. We hung out there for a while then we eventually went home at around two in the morning. Then the next day we decided to meet for coffee so we went to IHop, then sat and talked for a few hours, then we ran around Wal-Mart for another hour.

Yesterday he was the ONLY one who made it to my Scentsy party and it was kind of disappointing, but he made me feel better by taking us to lunch at this restaurant we didn’t even know existed called Porter’s Place. It’s an old fashioned place on Lehi main street that’s been there for probably a hundred years, and it was delicious. We washed his car and stopped by his collage to drop some stuff off, then we went and wandered around the mall for a couple hours looking at all kinds of things.
After our mall adventures, we had to take Taylor’s friend home. She lives up in this place called Cedar Hills, which we had never heard of before, and all of their buildings are really fancy. We tried to find the quickest way back to Lehi on our GPS only to find out there is another house with the same address on the other side of the river. We began to drive towards the freeway, which we could see in the distance. Suddenly a car came up the road from what looked like a dark chasm of death, startled the crap out of us and proved to be only a warm up for what we discovered. It was the biggest, scariest hill we’ve ever seen. It looked like it went straight down into nowhere then shot up at about the same angle, and was flanked by dark trees on either side. Izzie’s grandma told us this afternoon that apparently school buses are banned from driving down that hill because the sides are so steep that they kept getting stuck at the bottom. Fantastic, right?

So that’s about all that’s happened so far. I apologize if this post is kind of bland and short, but this is the first thing I’ve had to write about lately.
